MEDICAL TRAINING ROOM CUSTOM BUILT FOR CLINICAL EDUCATION

MEDICAL TRAINING VENUE NEAR DALLAS: A ROOM BUILT FOR CLINICAL EDUCATION
Clinical education has a visibility problem. A procedure demonstrated at the front of a hotel ballroom is a mystery to everyone past the second row, so instructors demonstrate in shifts, courses run long, and the people who paid for a technique go home having watched the back of a colleague's head. Hartwater Hall's Keynote Room in McKinney was built to fix that. The space was designed by clinical educators with clinical educators in mind. A medical treatment chair positions directly beneath an overhead PTZ camera mounted above the stage, and the camera, a 4K PTZ unit with 20x optical zoom, puts every procedural detail on the room's high-resolution OLED displays in crystal-clear HD at full size. It resolves detail fine enough to show a needle entry point without losing a pixel, so all 50 attendees see the instructor's hands as clearly as the instructor does.
ā
The rest of the room supports the clinical course from lecture to check-off: 35 seats at training tables with power and workspace for supervised practice, 50 total with the back row, a breakout room for small-group skills sessions, professional wireless sound, a private green room for faculty, recording built in for your continuing-education documentation, and a full stock of medical supplies on site in case you run short, with sharps containers provided and medical waste disposal handled for you. Medical, clinical, and aesthetics educators are the room's core users, and the venue is run by an education institute that hosts its own programs here.
THE OVERHEAD DEMO CAMERA AND TREATMENT CHAIR: EVERY PROCEDURE, EVERY SEAT

A medical treatment chair positions directly beneath a 4K PTZ camera with 20x optical zoom and autofocus, mounted above the stage and pointed straight down at the work. Demonstrate a live procedure on a model in the chair and the camera sends a birds-eye close-up to the OLED displays in crystal-clear HD, so the injection angle, the instrument handling, or the suture line is visible in detail from the last row. The camera resolves extremely fine detail: a needle entry point shows at full size on the screens without losing resolution. The same feed goes to your stream or recording, which means remote attendees and the archive get the instructor's view.
ā
For procedural teaching this changes the shape of the day. The instructor demonstrates once to the whole room instead of in shifts of five, questions are answered while everyone can still see the field, and supervised practice starts sooner. See the AV and streaming capabilities for how the two cameras and the control station work together.

BUILT FOR THE CLINICAL COURSE
DEMONSTRATE FROM THE STAGE
A proper stage area with clear sightlines, the medical treatment chair positioned under the overhead camera, wireless microphones for the instructor and faculty, and the OLED displays carrying the HD close-up to every seat. Bring your model, seat them in the chair, and teach to the whole room at once.
ā
SUPERVISED PRACTICE AT THE TABLES
Presentation-style rows of training tables seat 35 with full workspace and power at every seat, so attendees can practice on models or simulators, take notes, and keep devices charged through a full day. The back row brings the room to 50 for the lecture portions.
ā
SKILLS CHECK-OFFS IN THE BREAKOUT ROOM
The included breakout room, with two round tables, a TV display, a whiteboard, and video conferencing equipment, holds up to 10 for supervised small-group practice, competency assessments, or a private conversation with a student. See the breakout room on the Keynote Room page.
ā
RECORD FOR CE DOCUMENTATION
Stream the demonstration to remote attendees, record it for your continuing-education file or on-demand library, or both. Your recording files are delivered to you after the session. Run the control station yourself, or add our tech operator ($295 half day, $495 full day) to switch between the overhead camera, the presenter camera, and your slides while you teach.
ā
A GREEN ROOM FOR FACULTY
Visiting faculty and course directors get a private green room with comfortable seating, mirrors, a vanity desk, a garment steamer, a lint roller, and snacks, included with every booking.

MEDICAL SUPPLIES ON SITE
Clinical trainings often require specialty medical supplies. But remembering to bring all the right supplies can be overwhelming. Most trainers can remember a time they realized mid-training that they forgot to bring alcohol swabs or ran out of syringes. In a hotel conference room you're either scrambling to figure out an alternative or just throwing up your hands.
ā
At Hartwater Hall, we keep a full stock of standard medical supplies on site, so you never have to worry. If you run short during a session or left something behind, you just pick out what you need and it is added to your rental fee. Supplies are priced individually, so you pay only for what you use. No mid-course run to a supplier, no improvising through the afternoon.
ā
Sharps containers are provided, and medical waste disposal is handled by the venue, so your course ends when the teaching ends.
āā

If you prefer to use only venue-provided supplies rather than brining your own, you are welcome to do so. However, keep in mind that our stock is limited to standard medical supplies and we cannot guarantee stock of any particular item. If you plan to use venue supplies please let us know what supplies you need at least 14 days before your scheduled event so we can ensure we have it in stock and available.
ā
CADAVER COURSES
Hartwater Hall can accommodate cadaver courses for anatomy and procedural education. Because these courses require additional preparation of the space, they must be disclosed when you inquire, and additional fees and preparation time apply beyond the standard Keynote Room rate. Cadaver courses are arranged directly with the office rather than through the online booking calendar. If you are planning one, contact the office or call 469-519-9855 for pricing, preparation requirements, and available dates.

WHY CLINICAL EDUCATORS CHOOSE THIS ROOM OVER A BALLROOM OR A CLINIC AFTER HOURS
Hotels work well for a conference of hundreds, and a clinic works well for a handful of colleagues. Hartwater Hall was built for the clinical course in between: 20 to 50 attendees, one instructor, and a procedure everyone came to learn. Multi-day programs receive 10% off day two and beyond, and the venue also offers hourly meeting room rental in McKinney for faculty meetings and small-group follow-ups.
ā
RUN BY AN INSTITUTE THAT HOSTS CLINICAL EDUCATION
Hartwater Hall is the event and training venue of the Hartwater CARE Institute, a professional research and education institute in McKinney. The team that rents you the room runs procedural courses in it, so the details clinical educators care about, from the camera angle on the demonstration to the recording file for the CE record, were solved before the room went up for rent.ā
āā
PRICING FOR A TRAINING DAY
One rate covers the room, both cameras, the displays, the sound, the breakout room, the green room, gigabit Wi-Fi, and free parking. Deposit, cancellation, and payment terms are on the booking policies page.
